Professionally Qualified A Level and GCSE Chemistry Tutor, Teacher and A-Level Examiner

I am a professionally qualified chemistry teacher and examiner with over 30 years teaching experience at A-Level, GCSE and Key Stage 3 Chemistry.

I have a BSc (Jt Hons) degree in Chemistry and Mathematics - First Class, a Master’s degree in Chemistry, a Postgraduate Certificate of Education in science with chemistry specialism. I am enhanced DBS checked. I have taught Chemistry at an independent grammar school for 20 years. 

I provide high quality professional bespoke private online one-to-one chemistry tuition and small group classes tailored to meet my students' individual needs. I set high expectations and inspire and motivate my students to achieve their potential in chemistry.  Over the years many of my students have pursued veterinary science, medicine and engineering degrees and a substantial number have secured places at the most respected universities.

I have extensive knowledge and experience of teaching AQA and OCR at A-level and GCSE chemistry and trilogy specifications.

My approach is to identify each student’s needs then to provide targeted work to develop understanding in these areas. I can offer learners tuition that can boost their confidence, improve their understanding of fundamental concepts or refine your examination technique.

I have an excellent record of assisting students to achieve the top grades at GCSE and A-level.
